Overview

Space - the final frontier, now closer in reach than ever before. Companies worldwide are looking to the skies with the hope of exploring, and being one of the leading stars in the space sector. But, what do they need to get there, and how does the Civil Aviation Authority come into this? 

Join this Sprint with the Civil Aviation Authority, and use your skills to understand the process of preparing a Spaceport  license application, and, with the help of expert professionals, you’ll understand key aspects around exploring space.

In this Sprint, you’ll be supported by Ranji Gogoi, Space Systems Engineer at the Civil Aviation Authority. Ranji will take you through some of the key aspects of the emerging space sector, guiding you through the important role the Civil Aviation Authority plays as the UK’s space regulator. Plus, you’ll get a chance to hear more about space and Ranji’s journey in the sector and the different career pathways available!
